Hike to the Big Cedar and Easter

Happy Easter! We started the day with a little booby milk and then took a rest. The big kids enjoyed chocolate chip waffles while Aspen rested up for the big easter egg hunt set to take place this afternoon :)

Daddy making yummy waffles... more chocolate chips please!

Aunt Carly enjoying Schmooby's yummy breakfast

Yesterday afternoon, Daddy put together Aspen's snap and go stroller and we went for an hour long walk around our neighborhood before settling in for the night.

Aunt Carly thought Mommy's breast pad resembled a yamaka

Grandma Great's knit hat and Momo's afghan kept Aspen warm on our evening walk (photo taken by Carly Felix ;)

After a two hour walk in the morning and another hour long walk in the evening, Mommy and Aspen were worn out!

Yesterday morning we took a two hour walk to 'the big cedar' tree in North Bend. It was a little muddy, but everyone made it!

To celebrate Aspen's first hike, we went to Scott's Dairy Freeze in North Bend for milkshakes and fries. Aspen got to enjoy her own milkshake outside the Dairy Freeze in the sunshine :)

It was a gorgeous day out - Carly must have brought the sunshine from Florida

All of us posing in front of the 500 yr old Big Cedar! Aspen is hiding in the brown carrier on Brian's chest :)

See, there she is!
