5 weeks old!

Today I celebrated my 5 week old birthday! Unfortunately it wasn't filled with cake and presents. Instead I went to the doctor to get the frenulum of my tongue evaluated. After a thorough evaluation, the doctor decided that snipping my frenulum would help me drink better from mommy's breast and prevent any possible speech problems in the future that could be caused by overworking the wrong muscles in my mouth. The procedure took 2 seconds... mom and dad said I was very brave. I let out one big cry, but then I was happily nursing with mommy again and slept the whole way home.
