My first Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day with my mommy was the best. Daddy helped me get a few surprises together. But I think I gave mommy two of the best presents on my own... I slept for almost 8 hours the night before Mother's Day and woke up and gave her a smile :) I think it melted mommy's heart! Hey Mom!
I Love You :)

With Daddy's help, I got Mommy her favorite flowers, tulips, and a picture of the golden Aspen trees her and daddy were looking at when they came up with my name (although I think I overheard them saying the trees in the picture are really larch trees, but they didn't realize it at the time... good thing they didn't name me larch!)

Momo and I got Mommy the same card... whoops... made Daddy grimace. Mommy seemed to love both though :)

Here's that Mother's Day smile I gave Mommy :) How do you like my onesie from Auntie Kim? Uncle Jake said I looked liked Liberace thanks to those fun sleeves... now it's one of my favorite onesies!

Daddy helped me make Mommy her favorite breakfast.... giant chocolate chip pancakes! Of course Daddy gave Mommy an appetizer before the pancakes... left over brownies from my open house the day before. Boy, does my mommy have a sweet tooth or what?!

After a fun breakfast we went for an hour and a half walk around our neighborhood. I just cozied up to mommy the whole time, especially when a sudden sun shower came down on us for the last 10 minutes of the walk!

After the walk, I underwent my 3rd wardrobe change of the day, got warm and dry, and hung out with daddy on my blankie.

After getting warm and drinking a little milk, we went on our second adventure of the day.... a car ride around North Bend. Mommy just loves exploring different neighborhoods in North Bend, some of them more than once (drives daddy nuts but it was her day, so we thought it would be fun!) We picked up a pizza on the way home so mom and dad could watch a movie and relax... but I had other plans in store for them ;)

Well, there you have it... my first mother's day with my mommy and daddy. It was a great day... I can't wait to celebrate Father's Day in June! I Love You Mommy and Daddy!
